September came and went with the wind it seems! We had our first school-wide field trip to Pochuck Farms to pick apples and pears, and we all enjoyed picking out a pumpkin and eating cider and donuts! It was a lovely day!
School pictures ended today, and I hope all of you will enjoy seeing your children photographed in the great outdoors. Pictures will be ready to view by Friday online.
Make sure you check our school calendar on this site to keep track of coming events.
Fall is here, leaves are coming down like rain, yet I wish it were truly raindrops. We need some rain!
July 29 - 2:32PM
Happy summer to all of you! I hope your summer is going well and that you and your family are enjoying the warm weather and making lots of great memories.
Besides our Seeds of Wonder Nature Camp, we are working on fixing things around the school, ordering supplies, making new programs for the new school year, and registering new folks. It is always a busy summer here at Fields of Green!
This fall we are happy to announce that we have added two new teachers to our staff! Zoe Makofske is our new music teacher for our Elementary/Middle kids and also an Assistant in the Sprouts classroom three days per week. She has her Master's degree in Music Education and will be bringing along her two kids as well to join our community. John Tirelli is our new STEAM educator for Elementary/Middle kids and we are so excited for him to teach our kids how to use our new 3D printer, along with programming, robotics, and other wonderful subjects in the tech world!
We are also working on establishing a new Parents Facebook page, and that will come out in August. It's a new, fun way to connect with all the wonderful families here at FOG.
That's just some of what we are doing - have a great rest of the summer and please give us a call if you are interested in possibly joining our learning community here at Fields of Green!
January 18 - 12:46PM
To celebrate School Choice Week, we are putting on our annual Parent Breakfast in all classes! Parents will enter the "FOG Restaurant," be seated by their own child/waitress/waiter and the child will then retrieve breakfast for their parent! Sprouts and Seedlings will serve continental breakfasts and the Elementary class will cook a pancake breakfast for their parents. All parents welcome!
January 4 - 6:12AM
Due to the expected weather conditions, school will be closed today.
