Helping the Hurricane Student Victims

September 14, 2017

Good afternoon everyone,

Miss Marissa is in touch with a friend of hers who teaches on the island of Anguilla in the British West Indies. She is a high school English teacher and reported to Marissa that their schools are decimated and they don't know when they will be able to reopen at this point in time. The people there are generally poor, so many students cannot afford school supplies as it is, so Marissa had an idea.

She is offering to ship donations of gently used or new school supplies to her friend on the island so that the items will go directly to use by the students in her school when they are able to reopen. Feel free to send in backpacks, glue, paper, etc. Marissa is willing to take on the cost of the shipping, and for that we thank her for her great idea and willingness to help!

Have a good evening! -Miss Deb
