Janet was born in Delaware County, New York.

She has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock
College in Boston and has taught in California, New York, Germany,
and Okinawa, Japan.

Janet holds her Montessori certification in the 3-6 and 6-9 year old levels.

Janet's hobbies are nurturing children, gardening, cooking vegetarian,
meditation, and nature.
